Already have hearing aids? You're welcome here.
You don't need to purchase new hearing aids to find a new audiologist.
Perhaps you're still struggling in situations where you expected to hear better. Maybe your hearing aids haven't been adjusted in years, or you're simply looking for a different approach to your care.
At Baitz Audiology, we'll assess your hearing, evaluate your existing devices, and determine what might be improved.
If your hearing aids are still appropriate for your needs, we'll help you make the most of them through careful programming, objective verification, and ongoing follow-up.
Hearing Aid Repair, Programming & Service in Thornhill
Your initial hearing assessment and hearing aid review are complimentary.
A fresh perspective on your existing hearing aids.
Better hearing doesn't always require new hearing aids.
Sometimes, a thorough cleaning or adjustment is all that's needed. Other times, the issue may be related to the hearing aid's programming, its physical condition, or changes in your hearing.
We'll assess your hearing aids, identify what may be limiting their performance, and work out what can be improved.
Changing Hearing Aid Clinics?
Your hearing care can continue, even if you purchased your devices somewhere else.
You may have moved, your previous provider may no longer be convenient, or you may simply be looking for a different approach to your care.
Whatever brings you here, there’s no need to start over.
We'll review your hearing history, assess your existing devices, and help establish a plan for ongoing maintenance, adjustments, and follow-up.
Baitz Advantage Care Plan
$149 per hearing aid, one-time enrollment
Good hearing aid care doesn't end after a single adjustment.
Our Advantage Care Plan provides ongoing cleaning, maintenance, troubleshooting, programming adjustments, and Real-Ear Measurement for eligible hearing aids purchased elsewhere.
Hearing aids often need fine-tuning over time. With a single enrollment fee, you can return for adjustments without worrying about paying for each visit.
Hearing aids are eligible if they are 5 years old or newer, with coverage continuing while your devices remain serviceable. That means the manufacturer still supports them with parts and programming software, and we can verify, using Real-Ear Measurement, that they can still be adjusted to meet your hearing needs.
If your hearing aids reach the point where that’s no longer possible, we’ll show you the measurements and explain what we found. What you do next is always your decision.
Not included: out-of-warranty manufacturer repairs, loss or damage, and chargers.

Hearing Aid Services
Cleaning & Maintenance

Routine maintenance can help keep hearing aids performing as intended. We inspect and clean your devices, check for blockages or signs of wear, and replace domes, wax guards, and receivers as needed.
Troubleshooting & Repairs

If your hearing aid has stopped working, sounds distorted, or isn't performing as expected, we'll investigate the cause. Some problems can be addressed in the clinic, while others may require servicing by the manufacturer.
If a manufacturer repair is needed, we'll review the cost with you before sending your hearing aids away.
Programming & Adjustments

Hearing aids that once sounded comfortable may not perform as well months or years later.
We begin by understanding where you're having difficulty, whether that's following conversations at a restaurant, hearing passengers in the car, or understanding dialogue on television.
We use your hearing test results, objective measurements, and listening experiences to guide adjustments. Then we follow up after you've had time to try those changes in everyday life.
After all, what sounds right in a quiet office doesn't always translate to the places where you actually need to hear.
Real-Ear Measurement

Hearing aids can be programmed to the right settings on a computer without necessarily delivering the right amount of sound in your ears.
Real-Ear Measurement (REM) lets us check.
Using a thin, soft tube placed in your ear canal, we measure the sound your hearing aids are actually delivering and compare it with targets based on your hearing test.
This helps us identify where adjustments may be needed, rather than relying on software estimates alone.
Hearing Aid Brands We Service

Programming and repair options depend on the specific manufacturer and model. Certain devices may have software restrictions, require specialized components, or need to be serviced through their original provider.
If you're unsure whether we can work with your hearing aids, contact us with the brand and model. We'll help determine the appropriate next step.
Your first appointment is complimentary.
We'll begin with a hearing assessment and review of your existing hearing aids to understand your concerns and determine whether we can help. If further programming or ongoing care is appropriate, we'll explain the Baitz Advantage Care Plan before proceeding.
